Adding or Removing a connector can be difficult. 

• Removing a previous connection.
• Many drink tube connectors are heat shrunk into the tube making a vacuum type seal to prevent leaks. Pulling apart may stretch the tube or damage the other components.
• Option 1: In many cases you must apply heat (Heat Gun, Hair Dryer, Extreme Hot Water) to soften and expand the drink to ease the connector out. 
• Option 2: You can cut the tubing approximately an inch above the original connector and insert the new coupler as the example shown in the Photos Tab.  
• Adding a Connector / Coupler to a tube.
• Many drink tubes have thick walls to prevent kinking. This can make it difficult to insert the connector.
•  Option 1: In many cases you must apply heat (Heat Gun, Hair Dryer, Extreme Hot Water) to soften and expand the drink to ease the connector in.
• Finding an object the spread and widen the tube diameter when tube is heated will help.
